Although the emotions are still raw, sometimes very difficult questions have to be asked; and it's not for the reason you may think: it has nothing to do with whether the Stone family would theoretically have a viable legal action against Major League Baseball's Texas Rangers. Rather, the reason for the question is because - unfortunately - that may be the only way to determine if additional safety features at baseball parks are needed in order to protect the spectators against foreseeable dangers.

As noted in several news outlets, this was apparently not the first time that a fan had fallen over the railings in that ballpark and sustained serious injury. At the very least, shouldn't that at least raise the question as to whether this ballpark's safety structures are adequate?
