Although they voluntarily recalled their baby seats back in 2007 out of concern that babies were liable to suffer injuries if the seats were used on raised surfaces in order to include warnings about proper use of the seats, earlier today Bumbo International issued yet another recall of their baby seats after receiving another 50 complaints of babies managing to maneuver out of the seats and suffering severe injuries, including skull fractures.

Now, Bumbo is offering a free repair kit, which includes the installation of a safety belt into the seat (in addition to even more warnings against using the seats on an elevated surface).

Additional information on the product recall, which is being done in conjunction with the CPSC, can be obtained directly from www.recall.BumboUSA.com or calling (866) 898-4999.

Pictures of the Bumbo seat and the repair involved can be seen below.
