$90,000 Recovered for Woman Who Sustained Second Degree Burns When Handle Broke Off From Ceramic Mug

The plaintiff burned her legs when the handle from a brand new ceramic mug separated from the body of the mug, and the hot water in the mug then spilled on her lap. Despite the fact that the plaintiff failed to retain proof that she bought the mug, the defendants offered to settle this case shortly after the Court sided with our application to preclude their expert  from testifying at the trial of the case.

Awarded: $90,000
