Bronx Jury Awards $4 Million to Construction Worker In Slip and Fall

Folloing a trial, a Bronx County jury awarded more than $4,000,000 to 37 year-old construction worker Hassan Shabazz for the personal injuries he sustained which required a full knee replacement. In this case, the jury sided with the plaintiff's claim that the defendants were liable for his slip and fall accident because they actively created a dangerous condition in failing to properly clear the sidewalk from snow and ice.
