Children's Toy Importer Pays $31,000 Penalty to CPSC For Safety Violations

After its investigation revealed that California-based toy importer TGH International Trading had brought in over 10,000 toys that contained choking hazard components, and therefore had violated the Federal Hazardous Substances Act, the CPSC finally settled its charges against TGH, with the importer agreeing to pay a $31,000 penalty.
