GM Recalls 1.5 Million Cars Due to Fire Hazard

Earlier today, GM recalled approximately 1.5 million of its vehicles due to design defect and fire hazard involving their heated windshield wiper fluid system. This is the second recall that GM has issued for this problem in the last 2 years, and applies to a wide range of their vehicles covering 4 model years - from 2006 through 2009 for the following vehicles: Cadillac DTS, Buick Lucerne, and Hummer H2; Cadillac CTS, Escalade, Escalade ESV and EXT, Buick Enclave Chevrolet Avalanche, Silverado, Tahoe and Suburban; the GMC Sierra, Acadia, Yukon and Yukon XL; and, the Saturn Outlook and 2009 Chevrolet Traverse.
