New York Company Wins $17.5 Million in Breach of Contract, Trade Secret Theft Lawsuit

Yesterday, it was reported that following a trial, a Federal court concluded that a large French manufacturer, Ratier-Figeac, deliberately misappropriated the proprietary and trade secret information used by Manhattan-based small business ICE Corp. to develop a deicing propeller technology for military aircraft, and in the process, was not only liable to the New York company for breach of contract, but was also liable for punitive damages as well.
