Recall of Chinese-Made Cribs is Expanded

In conjunction with the Consumer Products Safety Commission, retailer Jardine Enterprises expanded its original recall of over 300,000 defective cribs due to concerns that the wooden slats could break and pose a strangulation hazard to infants. The original recall from June, 2008 covered 28 models of cribs; the expanded recall includes an additional 3 models of crib that were sold nationwide from 2004 through January, 2009.
