Earlier today, it was reported that after some of the concrete anchors it had ordered failed a series of engineering tests, prompting Irwin Seating to cancel its agreement with Elmsford-based Screws and More and to go with a different supplier, Screws and More has sued anchor manufacturer Powers Fasteners, alleging that Powers is liable to them for the cancellation of its agreement wiht Irwin. The complaint contains several claims, including breach of warranty, breach of contract, fraud and negligence.
