$550,000 Recovered for Woman Whose Achilles Tendon Was Cut
The plaintiff's achilles tendon was severed when a knife and cutting board set fell off a shelf of a store while she was walking down the aisle. In the process, the plaintiff suffered nerve damage that required surgical correction. We recovered $275,000 at trial against the local distributor of the defectively packaged product. We later recovered another $275,000 from the store's insurer in a separate legal action.
