In this case, our client was sued by a competitor over its hiring of one of their former employees. Although the competitor sought a 9-month injunction enforcing the non-compete agreement as well as compensatory damages, the Court sided with our view of the case, and declined to award the former employer's request for that injunction, and also declined to award them any compensatory damages. The action later settled for a reduced restrictive covenant against that employee alone (rather than our client as a whole - which was sought in the competitor's application).
