Following a trial in Nassau County, New York our client succeeded in piercing the defendants' corporate veil, and secured a $345,000 verdict for breach of their employment contracts.

This was far from a "gimme," because the individual defendants tried to hide their personal liability behind a series of corporations. Nevertheless, in rendering its verdict in our clients' favor, the court found that we had established that the defendants had abused the corporate form, and used them as their personal "alter ego," and therefore allowed our clients to pierce the corporate veil, and also awarded the judgment against the defendants in their individual capacities.
