Despite claiming hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages and seeking injunctive relief, we succeeded in demonstrating that the former employer's noncompete agreement was unenforceable under New York law, and as a result, we were able to resolve this case with no non-compete being assessed against our client, a former employee, with the payment of a nominal sum - $5,000 - to resolve all claims.
