After being sent a cease and desist letter based upon his purported breaches of the non-compete and non-solicit provisions of his employment agreement, and being threatened with litigation including a temporary restraining order by his former employer, a commercial mortgage broker, we beat the other side to the courthouse, and our client managed to resolve all claims - with our client paying the former employer nothing; instead, they ended up paying our client $180,000 to settle all claims, including for unpaid commissions under New York's Labor Laws.
