Hit & Run Accident By Drunk Driver on LIE Leaves Motorcyclist Dead

Earlier today, after a drunk driver rear-ended his motorcycle, a Queens motorcyclist left dead along the Long Island Expressway near Rego Park, Queens.
Although the driver of the vehicle that rear-ended the motorcycle fled the accident scene, rendering this a "hit-and-run accident,"police later caught him and his vehicle near the Queens-Nassau border along Francis Lewis Boulevard. Apparently, when he was finally caught, his blood-alcohol level was nearly .20, which is more than twice the legal limit.
