Russell Brands Recalls Defective Spalding Basketball Hoops

Although no incidents of injuries have been reported, earlier today the Consumer Products Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of Spalding's Chinese-made in-ground basketball hoops because the bolts that anchor the hoop into the grounds were apparently defective and prone to breakage, and thus posing a safety hazard to consumers.
