Apparently, problems related to sudden acceleration aren't limited to sedans and SUVs; the problem has now infiltrated the toy scooter market as well.

Earlier this month, Dynacraft was compelled to recall nearly 9,000 of its toy Urban Shredder ride-on toys after receiving roughly 20 complaints that the toys had experienced "sudden accelration," which naturally posed a fall hazard to its children-users.

Although in many circumstances, product manufacturers can remedy the defect with their products rather simply, and therefore, offer purchasers the opportunity to bring in the product for a cost-free repair, it does not seem that there is a simple or cost-effective fix to this problem, as Dynacraft is offering a full refund for a return of the product.
